Punto Pesca ("the app") is operated by its owner ("we") as a collaborative community
for anglers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
1. DATA WE COLLECT
• Account data: name, email, avatar provided when you sign up (directly or via Google
/ Facebook).
• Location data: device GPS coordinates ONLY when you drop a pin or use features that
require your position. We do not track location continuously in the background.
• User content: pins, species, notes, photos, verification votes.
• Technical data: IP, device type, OS (Vercel/Supabase logs for security and diagnostics).
2. SERVICE PROVIDERS
Data is stored and processed by:
• Supabase Inc. — database, auth, storage (US/EU regions).
• Vercel Inc. — hosting and access logs.
• Google LLC — optional OAuth sign-in.
• Meta Platforms Inc. — optional OAuth sign-in.
• Windyty SE — wind and tide (we send coordinates only, no personal data).
3. WHAT WE USE THE DATA FOR
• Operate the app (display pins, authenticate, sync your profile).
• Improve information quality (peer verification).
• Comply with legal obligations when required by competent authority.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
4. RETENTION
• Pins: auto-removed 24h after creation.
• Account: kept while active. You may request deletion via the contact below; we delete
within 30 days.
• Technical logs: up to 90 days.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
You may access, rectify, erase, port and object to processing of your data. Exercise
them by writing from your account email to the contact below.
6. SECURITY
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (providers with AES-256). Passwords
are never stored in clear text: we use Supabase Auth flows (magic-link / OAuth).
7. MINIMUM AGE
The app is intended for people 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. CHANGES
For substantive changes we update the date at the top and notify in-app when relevant.
